I can reproduce a pretty bad behaviour here; looks like stack smashing
or something, which gets xdm killed. I'll try and investigate that
soonish, but that's probably a bug in xdm (or in the server) rather
than a bug in the xrandr command. Will reassign when I know more about
it.
