You can use libpam-umask to accomplish this.
The libpam-umask package was written by Tollef Fog Heen following the discussion of this issue on the debian-x mailinglist. Search for
[EMAIL PROTECTED] .
Perhaps libpam-umask could be mentioned in the xsession documentation? That would make sure users would be able to find the package.
