I have just taken over the job of Espen Frøyshov at the Primary school and
continued to find a workaround or solution for the bug!
I added the framebuffer device driver for SiS (sisfb) to the /etc/modules file
and edit the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file, as follows:

After these changes the normal log-out via GUI works again!
