Hi there. Here is a little status update.
According to vmware support, current vmgfx driver does not provide good
3D acceleration at all. However I've seen on
http://lists.mandriva.com/bugs/2012-01/msg00149.php that better driver
will soon enter staging area of linux kernel, and better dri driver is
in mesa 8.0 tree (which is in rc1 - maybe it could be uploaded to
experimental or whatever). So we have to wait untill then. I suggest no
action being taken right now, and wait untill we get all bits ready.
