Hi David, I'm very sorry for my very short message. I'am a new user that is working with Debian. I have a problem to load the GUI. I'd installed Debian and installed the packages from the internet. Everything works well but when I want to load the GUI, than there go something wrong; I think that I choose the wrong video manufacture (I'd choose X but it must be Nvidia). Could you please tell me how I can fix that? Would that be with a command or must I install Debian again?
Hope to hear from you soon. How did you install Debian? Could you send the output of lspci and lspci -n? What video driver did it try to use and what driver is the correct one?
