Hi everyone, i'm trying to build mesa 9.2.2 from sources with vdpau enabled.
I've changed this line in 'debian/rules':
confflags-dri = \
[...]
--enable-xvmc --enable-vdpau \ # --disable-xvmc
--disable-vdpau \
[...]
But when the package is being built multiple messages like this appears:
[...]
dh_install: dri/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libXvMCr600.so.1.0.0 exists in
debian/tmp but is not installed to anywhere
dh_install: dri/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/vdpau/libvdpau_nouveau.so exists
in debian/tmp but is not installed to anywhere
[...]
I've been working with debian for a long time now, recompiling packages
indeed, but i haven't changed substantially none of them and obviously i'm
missing something. I think i need to include some '*.install' file but i
don't know how.
The last one, regarding to 'libvdpau_nouveau.so', is precisely the file i
need mplayer to use hardware acceleration with nouveau driver.
I've discarded nvidia driver recently because there are some apps using Qt
that make my gnome 3 crash all the way down. Everything works like a charm
now but when i see videos in 720p or 1080p my CPU works a lot wasting the
power of my nvidia card.
Thanks in advance.
