Ditto, with pretty much similar setup. I only have one screen (my laptop screen). I rebuilt xsserver-xorg with the patch pointed to (http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/commit/?id=9a19bf06b5b409fa0d5b5932e29cd4c5545052c5) and installed it; my mouse now works absolutely fine again.
