Looks like that bug is likely https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94218 which now has a patch. Looking at dates, it should be in Weston 2.0. That is in alpha now, don't know if that can make it into next Stable, or if it needs to be applied to 1.12 Thanks, Kelly
