Package: xserver-xorg-input-libinput
Version: 0.23.0-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

It appears that after some amount of time, on my (relatively complex
multi-device) input setup, left clicks stop working on all mouse-like
input devices--they are no longer reported by xev.

Here is a list of all my input devices:

⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)]
⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Logitech USB Receiver id=10 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Microsoft Microsoft® Nano Transceiver v2.1 id=12 [slave pointer
 (2)]
⎜ ↳ Microsoft Microsoft® Nano Transceiver v2.1 id=13 [slave pointer

⎜ ↳ Logitech Trackball id=14 [slave pointer (2)]

⎣ Virtual core keyboard id=3 [master keyboard (2)]
↳ Virtual core XTEST keyboard id=5 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ Power Button id=6 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ Video Bus id=7 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ Sleep Button id=8 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ HD Pro Webcam C920 id=9 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ Microsoft Microsoft® Nano Transceiver v2.1 id=11 [slave
keyboard (3)]
    ↳ Integrated Camera id=18 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ AT Translated Set 2 keyboard id=19 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ ThinkPad Extra Buttons id=22 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ Microsoft Microsoft® Nano Transceiver v2.1 id=23 [slave
keyboard (3)]

I am not sure what precise circumstances lead to this--but as you can
imagine, it is highly disruptive of normal workflow.

Any help in debugging this would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Andreas

Looks like something different is going on here. Not sure yet
what. Sorry for the noise.
