Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel Version: 2:2.99.917+git20171229-1+b1 The command:
$ xrandr --output DP-1 --scale 0.444x0.444 gives a black screen on my external monitor (with some randomly colored pixels in the upper left corner:ish) after upgrading from ... /var/cache/apt/archives/xserver-xorg-video-intel_2%3a2.99.917+git20171229-1_amd64.deb ... to: /var/cache/apt/archives/xserver-xorg-video-intel_2%3a2.99.917+git20171229-1+b1_amd64.deb My monitor is connected to an external display port (laptop). The laptop screen I keep turned off. I could not figure out what the difference is between those two versions since I could not find the source code repositories. If anyone can help me out here I could poke around a bit myself. I'd be grateful for this information, regardless. sparrow:~$ cat /etc/debian_version buster/sid sparrow:~$ ls -l /lib/*/libc.so.6 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 12 Jul 16 22:23 /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libc.so.6 -> libc-2.27.so lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 12 Jul 16 22:23 /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6 -> libc-2.27.so sparrow:~$ apt show libc6 | grep ^Version WARNING: apt does not have a stable CLI interface.
