Source: xserver-xorg-video-ast
Version: 1.1.5-1.1
Severity: serious
Justification: DFSG item 2

The AST_DP501_firmware array in src/ast_dp501fw.h contains a sourceless
firmware blob. I think this means that xserver-xorg-video-ast needs to
move to non-free, or it could use ast_dp501_fw.bin from the firmware
directory like the Linux kernel does and then move to contrib.

xserver-xorg-video-ast-1.1.5/ $ grep -C1 0x src/ast_dp501fw.h | head -n3
UCHAR AST_DP501_firmware[] = {\

This is now moot as the package was removed in bug #955603.
