I am using a Vaio slimtop with ATI Technologies Inc Rage 128 PR and LCD display. I power if off every night, because the display does not go in powersave, even with apm -s its still on. But apm does some other weird things, I suspect it to do something bad to the mousedriver (jumpy mouse, "pressing" buttons at random) and the keyboard, most of the time I can not enter my passwd in xlock, it seems it does not recognized any keys but RETURN.
