somewhen i heard that the current X4.1 .deb packages would autodetect TFT monitors. true/false? since someone tried woody and the X installation and got a dialog box to enter frequencies although a tft was attached. disclaimer: i don't really know if providing frequencies is still needed for TFTs, please educate me, if i am wrong :).
