Hi: Branden has seen this bug "... for as long as I've been using xconsole on Linux..."
For me, potato's xconsole was very reliable. Now, I see that the problem surfaces in woody. I really like xconsole, as I use a dialup line, and it's convenient to know when ppp dies.
