Hi I've been seing SIGILLs on my Althon 1900, Radeon mobility U1 system with the vesa driver whenever display blanking kicks in or I run xine , this is repeatable.
It turns out I can fix this by disabling the DPMS option in my XF86Config-4 . Given the simplicity of the DPMS code I wonder if the DPMS ports are not correctly iopl()'d ?
