* Are you still experiencing this problem with xserver-xfree86 4.2.1-11?
* Is the screen corruption "capturable" with a window dump (e.g., with the
"xwd" program)?
* Does the behavior change if you add the following option to your
XF86Config-4 file's "Driver" Section?
Option "NoAccel"
* How about this one?
Option "SWCursor"
