I did some poking around and I found some mail arcives that claim... 1. Only 1286x1024 is supported. Dosen't say what depth, but it must be <8,15,16,!(24|32) on a 4MB card. 2. You must "setenv monitor H" in the bios, didn't exist on my sparc.
You would think that with all X dose to validate video modes it would have been able to catch that. If I do find that you can get it to work, this can be made a whishlist.
