Package: xserver-xfree86 Version: 4.3.0.dfsg.1-8 Severity: minor When using ``advanced'' mode of configuring monitor, the configuration script (`dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86') doesn't ask for monitor physical size. Because of this, I had very small default fonts. While they are configurable in most places, this is still annoying and, for instance, font size at login screen is not configurable (to the best of my knowledge.)
As a workaround, I manually added ``DisplaySize ...'' string in `/etc/X11/XF86Config-4'. I suggest that Debian configuration asks for monitor size in addition to vertical and horizontal sync frequency. Paul
