Since the Mozilla bug 63419 [*] has been closed as wontfix, then this
should be fixed in xterm.
The problem is that if a selection in an xterm is no longer there
(e.g. after a click in the xterm or if the xterm has been closed),
then it is not possible to paste the old selection to Mozilla.

I don't think this *can* be "fixed" in XTerm. As far as I know, XTerm
handles selection and cut buffer semantics correctly. It's just that
Mozilla pretends half of the space doesn't exist.
(Screen has a similar bug.)
Closing as inapplicable to xterm.
