Yes, and /tmp/.ICE-unix and /tmp/.X11-unix can do this too; the problem
is older apps which have static libX11 or their own transport
implementations, which won't see the changed directories, and things
will then go awry.  That said, it needs to be done -- probably
post-sarge, I'd imagine, and maybe with the move to the modular tree
when we start re-evaluating many things which we've long taken for
granted.
