Package: xserver-xorg
Version: newest in SID

Xorg blanks out the console on startup in FrameBuffer
or X mode.

This is crappy.

Not only is the i810 driver no more then a VESA driver
now (WTF!) xorg makes using the console impossible...
unless you don't need visual feedback.

Seriously... who is programming the i810 driver? Is is
a clown? A woman?

i8x0 is on a massive amount of laptops, perhapse 1/2
of them.... it should be fixed and optimized... unless
no one gives a shit (likely the case... seems to be
the way OSS xdrivers go)

This is a gcc bug, in the way it miscompiles libvgahw. I'm closing this
out of spite because I'm sure it's already been reported to Debian, it's
certainly already been reported to X.Org and gcc, and the bug reporter
doesn't deserve the courtesy of being informed when it's fixed.

I recommend you start using video drivers which you programmed yourself.
Or, preferably, none at all.

So far you've failed to submit a useful bug. Please don't submit any
more.
