Ok, so it's in. I've done essentially all I plan to do for 6.9 until the next release, be it an RC or the real thing. I think our time is much better spent trying to get the modular packages in order. So yeah, the time for 6.8 is pretty much done and in all honesty I hope the time for 6.9 is the same. I *really* want to ship etch with the modular packages, so to achieve that goal I'm going to focus on those. The modular tree is, of course, totally open to development (as is 6.9) so please feel free to hack on it.
