Iam not a linux crack but maybe my problem could help.
When iam connecting my i.beat organix usb mp3-player to my debian
testing(tried it with standard kernel 2.6.12, and selfbuild kernel
2.6.14.2) cat /proc/bus/usb/devices hangs.
The same when i connect a Maxfield G-Flash Mp3-Player.
tail -f /var/log/syslog just shows:
Jan 19 17:01:26 localhost kernel: usb 1-5.4: new high speed USB device
using ehci_hcd and address 7
and nothing more.
My USB1.0 256mb noname usb-stick workfs flawless on the same usb port.
