You need to be specific. How does it 'kill' GNOME? Can you attach your xorg.conf? Can you also attach your Xorg.0.log from a crashing session? If GNOME gives you the dialog where it asks you to attach the output from two commands if reporting a bug, can you attach the output from those two commands?
