Awesome, thanks for handling this. I haven't built it yet here, but I'll do so soon, although all I've got is an i386. Now that Xorg 7.1 is out, we need to work out some plan for actually uploading 6.5 to the archive. My current plan is to stage 7.1 in experimental very soon, and then when it's stabilized move it to unstable. Since Brian has said that 6.6 is a ways off, this presents a bit of a problem since 6.5 is required to build the new server. My current thinking is that 6.5 should be uploaded to unstable so that Xorg 7.1 can go in too. If you want to put it in to experimental first for a while, that's totally fine by me. 7.1 is what I'm planning to ship with etch, so I'd like to have as much user testing and time to stabilize it as possible. This is all based on the thought that 6.6 will be released with plenty of time to get it ready for etch, so we can put 6.5 in unstable for a while until it's ready. If this isn't likely, then we may just have to settle for Xorg 7.0 in etch. I'd like to hear what your plans are for 6.5, and if you think we can put it in unstable. I'd love to help out however I can, although I'm pretty swamped still with Xorg bugs so I don't know that I'll have the time beyond what's needed to get Xorg moving. Let me know what I can do. - David Nusinow -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
