I've been building these in a pbuilder chroot, so dependency-wise everything should be ok. Michel, to save you time, use: fakeroot make -f debian/rules -n binary and check the commands near the end, esp. the dh_install ones. The problem with the missing parameters for -p should be gone. (This is in fact a good idea for anyone trying to build something using these packages, since you'll save yourself A LOT of time). These packages DO NOT build arch-optimized libraries since these seem to be broken with GCC 4.1. Unless someone spots trouble, I plan to upload these to the archive on Sunday (around 23:00 GMT or so). Thanks! Marcelo
