Actually, on second thought this wouldn't work. I actually tried it previously for other upgrade issues, but the problem is that apt-listchanges didn't show NEWS items for new packages. Since x11-common and xserver-xorg are both new packages for an upgrade from sarge, the program won't show the entry.
