Hi everybody, Since the last dist-upgrade of my debian unstable laptop system X didn't come up again. The display flickered for a short time and then stayed black, even if i switched to console mode again. The only way to get it working in this stage was rebooting (console worked but i couldn't see what i type).
I tried recompiling the packages (xserver-xorg and xserver-xorg-video-sis), the error remained the same. Now I'm using the testing versions of these packages without problems. I don't know how I can help you figuring out what's the error, there was nothing to be found in the logs. Only the CPU clock count was a little bit strange (3*10^8 Mhz).
