Package: xserver-xorg Version: 1:7.0.22 Followup-For: Bug #380061 Dear Strike force,
The file /etc/X11/xorg.conf says: # If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated # again, run the following command: # sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg But when running this command, I get the following error message : xserver-xorg postinst warning: not updating /etc/X11/X; file has been customized (Note that it seems that the name is unfortunately truncated to the name of another existing file.) I know how to modify the file by hand, so I can survive. But could you provide in this bug report a method to re-enable automatic updating ? I think that this would help others.
