Always check if a parent exists, undefine it otherwise.
This doesn't actually fix anything, but gets rid of annoying error messages.
Make the script less verbose (don't output unrecognized paths) which has the
nice side-effects of making the logs *a lot* smaller and the importing a bit
faster.
