AFAIK this was determined upstream (on the xorg mailing list and IIRC in
the Novell bugzilla, though it looks like it's not reflected in the
referenced fd.o bugzilla entry yet) to be an issue in Java/Swing, not
Compiz.
You are welcome to reassign the bug to the Java package and/or merge it
with bug 403530, I won't feel offended, or have a different opinion.
Just make sure that you're not playing "ping-pong" with the Java
maintainers.
