Package: compiz Version: 0.3.6-1 Followup-For: Bug #415227
I'm seeing similar behaviour intermittently under gnome from sid. The compiz packages are exactly the same as the ones in experimental, except I've removed the libmetacity conflict (#411012). My screensaver is a blank screen so that looks no different, however when I move the mouse to resume working, the password dialog fails to appear. I can move the mouse to the approximate location and wait for it change to a text entry cursor, allowing me to select the password box and enter my password blind. Assuming the password is correct I can hit enter and my screen returns to normal. Gnome is running with the current versions from sid (mostly 2.18.1) -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.21-jh (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages compiz depends on: ii compiz-core 0.3.6-1 OpenGL window and compositing mana ii compiz-gnome 0.3.6-1 OpenGL window and compositing mana ii compiz-gtk 0.3.6-1 OpenGL window and compositing mana ii compiz-plugins 0.3.6-1 OpenGL window and compositing mana compiz recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
