Package: gdm
Version: 2.13.0.10-2
Severity: important
This is a strange one. With my current user, logging in using the Gnome
session type (and the Gnome Fail Safe session as well) exits immediately
(right after entering the password). I created a new user account and it
works alright. I deleted the usual suspects (.gnome2, .gconf, a few
more) and I still saw the failure. If you can suggest a way to debug
this I'd be very happen to provide more information. /var/log/gdm was
not very helpful, and neither was .xsession-errors file.
