I tried it initially without the nvidia-glx and nvidia kernel module, then I got that white screen. By the way: WITH the nvidia-glx and kernel-module I get GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap is not available with direct rendering. GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap is not available with indirect rendering.
