Package: xserver-xorg-video-ati Version: 1:6.7.195-2 Severity: normal When switching from X to a virtual console (vesafb), the console output is visible only in the upper quarter or so of the screen. The rest still shows the X session. Switching back to X restores the X session correctly. This was definitely working in the version in unstable, and probably in some of the earlier experimental packages too.
I have a dual-head setup, and the shrunken console is visible on both screens.
