Hi, I just updated my packages, and among the lot came some xserver-packages. The good news is that the problem I reported seems to be fixed now. The virtual screens work just fine as they used to. Now the versions are as follows: xserver-xorg-core 2:1.4.2-1 xserver-xorg-video-ati 1:6.9.0-1 >From my point of view, the bug can be closed. Thanks for your help!
