Package: compiz-core Severity: normal I have installed the latest version, and '/usr/bin/compiz' seems to work fine under Xfce without having to make manual changes to the script.
Nice job! The only issue I face now is #513639, the permissions problem with '/var/log/Xorg.0.log'. Once that issue is resolved, I may switch to 'compiz' as my permanent window manager. (I still haven't tested support for video playback, though, which was a showstopper for me in the past.)
