Aeh, so you say ddcprobe is only useful for detecting the first monitor? AFAIK
ddcprobe is not only useful to find out the name (to which I agree it's a
rare usecase :) but also other specs.
I'll leave reopening the bug to you though, but/and like to remind you of
#336764.
