I can get my omnibook XE2 work with lenny's xorg version.Driver vesa doesn't work but siliconmotion does, so I might be using siliconmotion driver before I encountered the problem. The problem is likely to be fixed in siliconmotion driver in testing and unstable versions of xorg.
