With KMS, the bug seems not to be present (presumably because X gets EDID from the kernel now?). EDID has been correctly detected since at least 6 February, when I removed the modeline entry set up as a workaround for this bug from xorg.conf. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
