I must precise what I wrote in the last mail: 1) that refers to the situation where firmware-linux is _not_ installed. If that package is installed, as already written before, the suspend process doesn't even complete - see below for details;
2) message #17 is not totally correct: if I trigger a suspend (with firmware-linux installed), the system doesn't freeze: it still executes activities like playing music, but suspend doesn't complete and the screen remains dark.
