The first time I hit Alt+F1 the icon of the application menu is getting "marked", the same color as if it would be open.If you hit Alt+F1 the first time so that the application menu icon becomes marked, and then open a console and execute "xfce4-popup-applicationsmenu", it will open the operation menu instead of the application menu, which definitely should not happen. However if the application menu icon is not "grey", executing "xfce4-popup-applicationsmenu" will open the application menu as expected.
