Good morning, thanks for investigating this. Due to the lack of info on the net I suspected this would be the outcome.
In Aug/Sep I changed my HDD to an SSD. I ran Debian Stable on both the old and new drives. I copied across the entirety of my home directory including the dotfiles so I can only assume I have some problem there. I have backups so I can experiment. Kind regards, Derek.
