Hello Yves-Alexis, You don't encrypt the database containing the usernames ???
Maybe that would be a step to take, don't you think ? Having to re-enter your username over and over again when logging in is something that is extremely tiring in the long run. It shows little respect for users and it wastes a lot of time if you add up the number of times over several decades that you have had to re-enter your username over and over again... I know you are nice volunteers who work on the side to live. But it would really be desirable for you to spend some time on the problems in order to solve them for the good of all. An OS that does not question itself and adapts to the needs of users will necessarily only be very marginally used, as long as the developers and maintainers of the said OS do not take into account all the needs of users... Debian is nice. It could become great if only there was better coordination as well as a stronger desire on the part of developers and maintainers to move things forward ;-( Because from the users' point of view we really have the feeling that it is stagnating...
