There are plenty of non-SOAP packages with that tag. Some are also tagged protocol::corba, and have nothing to do with web services. Some web-service packages might be tagged protocol::xmlrpc, if that tag existed. And then there's "portmap". Perhaps we need a good single tag these could all be unified under. The ::rpc tag might work, but does it belong under devel::? Or perhaps we need a full set of categories that divide the field up neatly. Any suggestions? -- JBR Ankh kak!
