Having played around with the AI tagger some more, the main bottleneck is not the testing but actually finding the package data. --test-all-packages evaluates all packages against a single tag in 90 seconds on my machine, so a complete read-in of all tags would take about half a day. With a bit of profiling I bet this could be reduced to run within a couple of hours, max. Just a matter of storing this in a database, refreshing it every week, and we're in business! Anyway, I'll be away for a week starting tomorrow. Looking forward to doing some proper hacking once I get back. And yes, you'll get your mockups, don't worry :) cheers, Alex -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFEke6CQeuQA5TF/UsRAs+jAJ9UjGsjn2tE0nKBIGqVAOZvAhmaJQCfTGBR wKfYw1IrG/DsiT/8PEhFx6I= =YPeu -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Debtags-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/debtags-devel
