This doesn't seem to be covered by anything else yet. How about a tag to mark packages that have something to do with SMP support? I was tagging pbzip2 and was left thinking that it could use one more tag that bzip2 didn't have.
For reference: pbzip2 is a parallel implementation of the bzip2 block-sorting file compressor that uses pthreads and achieves near-linear speedup on SMP machines. Would hardware::smp be appropriate for this?
