Hi, Looking at lmodern (which I comaintain), I have one request and one question.
The request is for tags related to OpenType, since lmodern is provided in OpenType format (as well as PostScript). Currently, for the PostScript part, lmodern has works-with-format::postscript, but I think it means that the font can be used conveniently in PostScript documents. It would be nice to be able to say "this package provides PostScript fonts" and "this package provides OpenType fonts". The former is maybe (not sure!) the intent of made-of::data:postscript, which should then be added to lmodern, or maybe another non-existing tag such as made-of::data:postscript-font or something like that. As for the OpenType part, I see nothing appropriate in /var/lib/debtags/vocabulary, which is I tagged the package with made-of::TODO. Now, for the real question. I'm wondering whether lmodern should be tagged with: works-with::image:vector The fonts shipped in lmodern can be used when creating vector images, e.g. with skencil or MetaPost. But this is basically the case for every vector font. lmodern is not a program for working with vector images (it's not a program at all), so I'm not quite sure the tag should be set. I'll let it up to you vocabulary experts to settle this issue. Thanks. -- Florent _______________________________________________ Debtags-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/debtags-devel
