Hello,

I'm the maintainer of the yorick package, an interpreted language used for numerical computations and data analysis and visualisation. I also package several plug-ins for Yorick and packages implemented in Yorick.

I've been tagging my packages this morning and realised I could really use some yorick-specific tags (e.g. implemented-in::yorick). You will find attached my patch to the vocabulary file (I also added a couple of scientific data formats in works-with-format), any comment welcome.

Best regards, Thibaut.

Hi,

I see that the vocabulary has not been updated since I made this request. Could someone please do it?

I know have something like 20 yorick-related packages. All of them should certainly be tagged suite::yorick and implemented-in::yorick and a fair number (but not all) should additionally be tagged devel::lang:yorick.

I would also like to start tagging software which can read FITS and HDF5 files.

By the way, I had a question: Yorick alone can't read HDF5 files (for instance), but it can as soon as yorick-hdf5 is installed. Should I then tag yorick with work-with-format::hdf5? If I want to find a way to convert a FITS file to HDF5, for instance, I am likely to look at packages which are tagged work-with-format::hdf5 and work-with- format::fits, and obviously (as a user), I would like to see Yorick listed here.

Best regards, Thibaut.
