I'll try to help you, for lilo, edit your /etc/lilo.conf, take a look on
the line boot= , make sure you have boot=/dev/sda1
For SMP support , i don't know

Hi all,

I have just installed Linux Mandrake on a server. I have two problems :

1) I use IBM SCSI disk. I cannot write on the boot sectors to boot
directly with LILO during installation.
What's on ? How booting on the hard disk ?

2) When booting on a floppy, the mandrake indicates I have only one
processor but I have two processors !
What's the problem ? How to use the two processors ?
